Charlie has earned a variety of titles in backstage work throughout his theatrical career.
While at California State University, Chico, he became strongly educated in the world of theatrical costuming; he later continued his work at Broadway at Sacramento Music Circus.
Most recently, Charlie worked as the wardrobe dayworker/stitcher for Broadway Sacramento Music Circus' musical production of Elf. He later joined the resident costume shop in an ongoing role.
Charlie worked as a stitcher at the Chico State costume shop under resident Costume Shop Manager/Costume Designer Elizabeth Grace Davis.
While here, Cave assisted with several shows and eventually was responsible for his own build: a sequined blue halter-top dress that served as Alyssa Greene's final look inThe Prom.
Charlie acted as the costume designer for the student-directed musical The Shakespeare Revue.
